Tulip HillWelcome To Tulip Hill Winery!
"Where the experience, atmosphere and wines will keep you coming back time and again."

Our winery produces world-class wines from Lake County grapes and our estate vineyards in Pope Valley and Mount Oso. The Brown family has restored the historic Bartlett Springs mineral water bottling facility into a state-of-the-art winery, tasting room, and Visitor Center. Enjoy our award-winning, handcrafted wines, stroll through one of Northern California’s most stunning gardens, tour the winery, or relax while enjoying the beauty of Lake County. Our intimate tasting room has a unique selection of gifts and wine accessories to complete the wine tasting experience. During spring, the gardens feature more than 30,000 tulips in bloom. During the last week of March these tulips are showcased through our Annual Festival of Tulips! A day of wine, food, music, winery tours, and tulips, tulips, tulips! Tulip Hill Winery is not to be missed on your wine tasting adventure! If you are in the southern California area, you can get a taste at our tasting room in Rancho Mirage.

Since we control everything from vine to bottle... we are able to create a handcrafted product at an amazing price point. Our wines are made in a boutique style in small lot production. Our largest fermentation tank is only 6,300 gallons and we taste all of our lots and blend them to create our different vintages with a focus on balanced, approachable wines true to their varietal character, letting the fruit do all the talking.

We have chilled it even further to about 50 degrees to achieve about 1 brix per day.

We barreled down a portion to finish fermentation in the barrel and the cellar smells spectacular! There is a pervasive 'sizzle' in the cellar also from the fermentation bungs and it is just cooking!
